Life

Life insurance allows your loved ones to deal with the financial impact of your death. In a nutshell, it is a contract between an insured and an insurance company when in the event of your death, the person or group of people you choose as beneficiaries get a one-time tax-free payment, called a death benefit.

Your beneficiaries may use the death benefit in different ways such as paying for funeral expenses, income replacement, estate taxes, paying debts including your mortgage and much more
There are different types of life insurance you may choose according to your needs.

Term life insurance

Term life insurance provides coverage for a specific amount of time. These are usually the most affordable options and they are renewable and convertible to permanent policies if the client wishes. The term can variate and it usually goes from 10-40 years or until you reach an specific age such as 65 or 75 years old.

Permanent life insurance

Permanent life insurance provides you with lifetime coverage. There are more options within this type of insurance and depending on the product you select, you also have the opportunity to build tax sheltered wealth through your policy’s fund value and use it to fund a downpayment for a home or fund your retirement Income strategy.

As part of the Permanent Life insurance products we have:

Whole life insurance

With this type of insurance your premiums won't change as you get older. Your policy will often has a guaranteed minimum cash value and a dividend scale which usually pays a substantial amount into the cash value of your policy. These policies also allow you to access additional funds during your lifetime.

Universal life insurance

This type of life insurance combines the insurance benefit you get from the policy with an investment account. The account offers you a way to build tax shelter wealth for yourself and a legacy for your beneficiaries. The Policy value can be accessed by policy loan, collateral loan or withdrawals.

Different tax strategies are created using universal life, the benefit of these strategies is substantial when it comes to minimizing the tax impact for individuals and corporations. These strategies require a special type of expertise, that is the backbone of our service.

Disability

Disability insurance was created to protect you and your family from unexpected illnesses or accidents. If you are not able to work because of an injury or illness, disability insurance replaces a portion of your income up to a maximum amount for a specific period of time.

Fist Bump with Coach

This way, you can still pay your bills in the short and long term while you recover from a specific illness or accident covered by the policy.

Some employers offer disability insurance however, it is a good idea to get your own disability insurance policy in case you stop working for the same company or if your benefits are not enough to cover your life expenses during your disability time you can get a top up.

Also, if you're self-employed, it is a good idea to plan ahead and get your own disability insurance protection in case you have an accident or injury at work. This type of insurance will cover many of your business expenses if you're unable to work.
